Our History
Curt's BBQ Sauce is a family-owned business that started in January 2007. The sauce itself, however, has been in the family for over 20 years. (Dad Curt is the sauce specialist, and it took us that many years to get the recipe out of him!)
In 2007, we started producing our sauce as a family in a licensed and regulated facility. At that time, we used canning jars, sealing every lid ourselves. We took our final products to craft shows, farmer's markets, and fairs. We really enjoyed this family affair, sharing lots of laughs and hard work.
We enjoyed making it ourselves, however the demand for our sauce grew to a point where we were not able to produce it ourselves. Our friends at Full Service Foods in Hillsboro, ND now bottle our sauce. Our recyclable bottles have new labels, a new look and are more consumer friendly!
This has been quite a barbeque sauce journey so far, and we look forward to continue putting smiles on faces and joy in bellies by sharing our special sauce with others!
